Like of ‘rust belt’ cities, Trento experienced declines due to deindustrialization. But, unlike cities like Pittsburgh and Rochester, for example, it has struggled to reinvent itself, even with significant state funding. 

Trenton’s main employer is the State of New Jersey, as Trenton is the capital. Roughly 20,000 people make the trek to Trenton every day to work for the State.  

It’s not clear why Trenton has struggled, while other parts of New Jersey have seen their fortunes reversed. Unlike Jersey City and Hoboken, Trenton hasn’t benefited from its proximity to Philadelphia nor has it been able to expand beyond government like Albany.

  3. Theme Optimization: This requires a developer to strip out the unused code from your theme. This is not cheap, but it can get you close to if not equal to a custom built site.
